
Data in Action - Webinar Series Materials
Throughout March - May 2025 the Asia-Pacific Road Safety Observatory, the Asian Development Bank and the CAREC program hosted the first series of the Road Safety Capacity Building Program webinar series.
The focus of the series was Data in Action: Using Global and Local Data Sources to Enhance Policy, Investment, and Implementation.
The online training program provided expert global and regional guidance on the application of data from the World Health Organization's (WHO) Global Status Report on Road Safety and other sources in:
- Formulating country insights and comparative analyses
- Making valid comparisons between countries
- Utilizing data in the prioritization of country road safety actions and strategies
- Featuring data collection tools and methodologies that could be used to address existing data gaps
- Measuring road safety progress
- Effectively communicating and financing road safety work
